Faxon Barrel FX7 Prefit 308 Winchester 1 in 10 Twist Gunner Profile 18 5/8-24 Thread 416-R Stainless Steel Nitride

The Faxon 5R Rifled Barrel is manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave. The barrel is machined from gun-barrel quality bar-stock steel with black nitride coating for added durability and longevity. The 5R is a hybrid rifling, with opposite groove lands (cut ridges), as well as reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing the velocity. This makes for an extremely easy barrel for cleaning. The Prefit barrel with 5R rifling also comes fully MPI inspected and offers better accuracy through less bullet jump.
